Address Mappingis the process of mapping attribute data such as such street addresses, or zip codes (postal codes) to associated geographic coordinates (often expressed as latitude and longitude). With geographic coordinates the features (in our case mostly Properties) can be mapped and entered into Geographic Information Systems, or displayed on Google or Bing Maps, or the coordinates can be embedded into media such as digital photographs via geotagging.

Displaying the property as accurately as possible within a GIS system is very important for the extraction of other layer information and it’s the inclusion in the Property attributes. Examples of these could be a polygon layer depicting average value of similar properties or a polygon layer.
